illness

There is an illness everywhere
and all we see are the symptoms
which we want to cure

i feel like i am in a pit,
and trying to crawl out of it
when a barrage of cures come tumbling over
me,
pushing me farther down into the pit.

i have to play dead now,
for how long?
till this pit is forgotten

and then you can slowly crawl out.
