Hurrying

The pace at which things move in the natural order of things is key to its growth and development. As humans, we have a tendency to hurry things -- for instance, when somebody is saying something, we try to preempt the end of the story -- especially if we are not interested in the growth and development of things and are merely passing time.

There was a time maybe when things were allowed their time. After we took over, many things have become quick jobs. When living in Bengaluru, you might not feel that way -- especially when you are waiting for something to happen. People in this city seem to be in a stupor that has been induced by the failure of coping with the pressure of having to keep up with the pace of things. Every time we snap out of this stupor, we go into a phase of confusion and conflict. So a human being is alternating between stages of stupor and confusion-- the swinging does not stop and one does not land on one's feet.
Like there are failed states, there are failed cities too and the US has a number of them.
At this juncture, it is a big let-down for us citizens. I say this with as much authority I can muster as any other citizen of this city.
I say a let-down, because there is no reason why Bengaluru should have become an experiment that can at any point be declared a failure. Except, the inadequacies of the bosses. It may have been that they are corrupt, weak, without pride, or incompetent.
