Extra

All of us want to be extraordinary. Live a life that is unlike any other that we have heard of or seen, live a life larger than that of the others.
However, whatever we do, we are not going to have a life any more or less ordinary than the other's. That is so as there is a spectrum, a life-span so to speak of everything and in all lives the entire spectrum is covered to whatever extent that being is capable of covering it.
What are the things that one chases in an effort to make one's life less ordinary?
a) Money: This is the first thing as it is easy to get many things with money. If you are not born with a lot of money, you are not going to get enough to undo generations of poverty and middle-classedness. So if you are a first-generation maker of money, quit chasing this as this money may help the generation to come, but it/journey of making it will surely ruin your relationship with the generation to come and so make money if you think it will help you and you alone. You can use the money to travel, see new places, have new experiences, but before your life ends, you will run out of new experiences. Even money can't buy a new experience or eternity.
b) Eternity brings us to point b – eternity. To be remembered after death. To have an effect in the lives of many many people. This is a tricky one. Unless like Einstein you make a prediction that is proven true (scientifically) years after you are gone, there is no point to eternity. What if you are as well remembered as Jesus or Buddha? You need great story-tellers to be remembered like that, and after the invention of money, such memories are easily manufactured, sold, and perpetuated, but we really do not have souls these days, which in effect means we do not have a capability for eternity. Maximum, a generation or two is how much time good is remembered, bad maybe a little more as it scars us and we remember it a little more to try and not be that for a little while more. When you just wake up from a dream you remember it very well but as the day progresses it dissipates little by little till you cannot remember it anymore. Just like that, if the previous generation is a dream this generation wakes up from, it has no memory of the dream by the time its day is through. I am afraid, this includes even muscle memory, after a sufficient lapse of time.
If our memories were fine, then we already remember that our lives are not ordinary. Sometimes, the pangs of that memory hurt you in your current life as you do not understand why you are riddled by so much pettiness when you know in your heart that you are capable of the extraordinary, like if you do remember every detail of that good dream, it might help.
c) Love, etc: In the etc, comes goodwill of the people, friendships, bonds and so on. In a way this is a noble thing to chase. Which is why poets keep on singing about the merits of love. Do live and die for love. For everyone around you as you are is capable of feeling it. Fine fine emotion as a human.
