It's a dilemma many of us face in today's world. We are nothing without what is human in us. The farther we have gone from our humanity, the closer we find ourselves to nothingness.
(For instance, I have a desire to write, not for fame, not for money, not for people to know what I think about something, not even for me to know what I think about something. It is just something I want to do.
What a strange thing to want to do, I have often thought.
Why would anyone want to sit and write?)
